HÖRET! HÖRET!: Ubuntu 11.04 Natty Narwhal Beta ist da!
Auf Server-Seite hat man sich laut Ankündigung um bessere Energie-Verwaltung gekümmert, um Strom zu sparen. Ubuntu 11.04 für EC2 bringt ebenfalls einen neuen Kernel mit sich. Firefox 4 ist Standard-Browser und LibreOffice ersetzt OpenOffice.org. Ab Natty Narwhal ist Banshee die Standard-Applikation für Musik. Unter der Haube befinden sich weiterhin X.Org 1.10.0 und Mesa 7.10.1. Herzstück ist Linux-Kernel 2.6.38.
