Ich hatte gestern die Neuerungen von Cinnmamon 1.6 beschrieben und auch gesagt, dass ich mich freue, wenn die Desktop-Umgebung in Linux Mint 13 erscheinen wird. Clement Lefebvre hat nun bestätigt, dass Cinnamon 1.6.0 für Linux Mint 13 und LMDE (Linux Mint Debian Edition) in Kürze in den Romeo-Repositories verfügbar sein wird. Ich schrei dann ganz alut, wenn es so weit ist 🙂
openSUSE-Anwender mit GNOME 3.4 dürfen schon – da ist Cinnamon 1.6.0 schon verfügbar. Heißt auf Deutsch, dass Cinnamon 1.6.0 mit openSUSE 12.1 + GNOME 3.4 oder openSUSE 12.2 installierbar ist.

Kann es sein, dass das Update wieder aus dem Repository rausgenommen wurde? Mir wird nämlich kein Update auf die 1.6 angezeigt.

ich habs. Das Update ist jetzt im Backport-Repo. 🙂
Ah ... ich konnte es nicht nahcsehen, da ich auf Linux Mint 14 bin ... 🙂
