Ab sofort steht eine zweite Beta-Ausgabe von ClearOS Enterprise 5.2 Beta 2 zur Verfügung. Laut Entwickler ist die größte Neuerung, der möglichen Upgrade-Pfad von ClarkConnect 5.0. Die Entwickler warnen ausdrücklich, dass es sich hier um Beta-Software handelt. Man solle diese daher mit Umsicht und Vorsicht einsetzen. Seit Beta 1 wurden diverse Fehler ausgemerzt. Zum Beispiel besteht ein Problem beim Rücksetzen des Samba-Winadmin-Passworts nicht mehr. LDAP wurde laut eigener Aussage ebenfalls weiter optimiert. Die Entwickler haben dem auf Linux basierendem Server-System die Möglichkeit spendiert, Software-RAIDs zu verschlüsseln.
