The Document Foundation hat die sofortige Verfügbarkeit von LibreOffice 3.3.1 Release-Kandidat zwei zur Verfügung gestellt. Die Entwickler warnen, dass es sich um ein unfertiges Produkt handelt und sich somit nicht für den produktiven Einsatz eignet. Wer Stabilität braucht, sollte deswegen weiter auf LibreOffice 3.3 setzen. LibreOffice 3.3.1 RC2 steht für Linux, Mac OS X und Windows zur Verfügung. Zu den nennenswerten Änderungen gehören zahlreiche Übersetzungs-Updates und neue Mime-Typen-Symbole. Ebenso wurden einige Fehler ausgebessert, die zu Abstürzen führten.
