Mit Wine 1.3.0 beginnt ein neuer Entwicklungs-Zyklus

Vor ungefähr zwei Wochen debütierte Wine 1.2, auf dem auch die neueste Ausgabe von CrossOver basiert. Nun haben die Entwickler der Windows-API für Linux und UNIX Version 1.3 mit neuen Funktionen zur Verfügung gestellt. Die Entwickler haben begonnen, eine Benutzeroberfläche für den eingebauten Internet Explorer einzupflegen. Unterstützung gibt es auch für Cross-Process OLE Drag & Drop. Dem Windows-Script-Host-Programm wscript.exe spendierte man ebenfalls ein Update. Die Öffnen- und Speichern-Dialoge erinnern sich an das zuletzt benutzte Verzeichnis. Die Übersetzungen haben die Entwickler ebenfalls überarbeitet. Wie immer gibt es zahlreiche Bugfixes.
