Ab sofort gibt es den Catalyst Linux-Treiber als Version 11.2. Sie können diesem bei AMD herunterladen. Dabei präsentiert sich das Gesamtpaket etwas schlanker. Musste man vorher über 100 MByte für das x86/x86_64-Paket herunterladen, sind es nun noch zirka 85 MByte. Die Entwickler vereinen derzeit Binärdateien für verschiedene X.Org-Server-Versionen und werden in naher Zukunft 6.8 nicht mehr unterstützen.
Des Weiteren sollte die Radeon HD 6800 nun als offiziell unterstützte Grafikkarte erscheinen und nicht mehr als “nicht offiziell unterstützt”. Darüber hinaus wurde ein Problem im Zusammenhang mit Unigine Heaven behoben. Wie üblich haben die Entwickler diverse Fehler ausgebessert.
