Gehört schließlich zum Guten Ton: Fedora 15 verspätet sich abermals

Eigentlich müsste man darüber berichten, wenn sich eine neue Fedora-Version mal nicht verspätet. Die Entwickler der von Red Hat gesponserten Linux-Distribution scheinen daraus wirklich einen Running Gag zu machen. Ursprünglich für den 10. Mai 2011 geplant, wurde der Termin zuvor schon auf den 17. Mai 2011 verschoben. Nun können die Entwickler auch diesen Termin nicht einhalten und Fedora 15 – Codename Lovelock – debütiert voraussichtlich am 24. Mai 2011.
Laut Entwickler würden noch neue Funktionen in die beta-Version aufgenommen, die allerdings erste getestet werden müssten. Um was es sich dabei genau handelt, kam nicht zur Sprache. Eine Beta-Version ist nun für den 19. April 2011 geplant und der Release-Kandidat soll am 10. Mai 2011 zur Verfügung stehen.
