Ab sofort ist die Open-Source-Software für Webanalyse Piwik als Version 0.6.2 verfügbar. Eine der Neuerungen sind Einstiegs- und Ausstiegs-Seiten. Somit können Webmaster für jede einzelne Seite die Anzahl der ankommenden und verlassenden Besucher inklusive der so genannten Bounce-Raten sehen. CSV-Exports sind nun so aufbereitet, dass sich diese auch einfach in Microsoft Excel importieren lassen. Dafür gibt es einen speziellen Excel-Link (TSV). Ebenso haben die Entwickler die Favicons für alle Suchmaschinen eingepflegt.
Bestehende Installationen lassen sich mit wenigen Mausklick auf den neuesten Stand bringen.
Darüber hinaus wurden laut Changelog 34 Fehler bereinigt. Sie können die neueste Version direkt von der Projektseite herunterladen. Bestehende Installationen lassen sich auch direkt aus der Weboverfläche aktualisieren.
